I just received the news yesterday: Our 52teas Pina Colada Honeybush, the only tea we were able to enter into the North American Tea Championships this Year placed third in the Hot Tea: Flavored Herbal Teas Category.

This is a HUGE honor, to have placed in this prestigious contest between the best of the best tea blenders in North America. Even better because it was such a close contest. Our Pina Colada Honeybush scored 81/100, the second place winner scored an 82 and the first place winner scored an 83. (You can see the full results here.)

So, now that we’re famous, if you haven’t come out to Zoomdweebie’s yet, you have no excuse! We’re also looking forward to crafting a version of the winning tea to be packed in 3oz. filter packs for use in commercial iced tea brewers in restaurants. (Hear that, restaurant owners?
